And this is while we out here on the thread are doing our jihad duty and trying to solve the problems of the world?.... :)

Many bad things throughout history happened because people tried to impose their limited pseudo-scientific theories on societies in general -- and on economies.

The Fed is chasing its own tail. When they try to save us from the evils of deflation, they end up creating RE and credit bubbles - and weaken the Dollar. Now, they will try to fight inflation - and will most likely increase deflationary pressures.

With all those cheap imports everywhere, and an evolving slowdown - and very little in a way of upward pressure on wages - and with central bankers set to start raising rates - I think this conundrum will not be over without a deflationary episode.
