I visited the site today. The information I found was yes definitely the second well was about 1 mile from the first well which was right beside highway #9. The site is about 60 kilometers north of Preeceville. There is a dirt road which was being thoroughly enjoyed by ATV s. The crew were busy still logging the well. I had been told by a store operator that the company was setting in pipe and perforating. The site boss told me they were still logging the well. If so they have been logging the hole for a week, which seems a long time. The crew were hard at work when I arrived unannounced. They work around the clock until they are done. I will be confirming how long logging takes with an old friend. Every thing I heard seems to indicate that the well will be a producing entity. But I did not hear quite enough to speak unequivocably. I also heard that the drills would be returning in September.

This is important because some of the seeps were found in low lying swampy areas. A good frost would be needed to make the ground accessible. Look for some news in a week to two weeks time. Even 20 barrels per day would pay for the hole in a yearès time.

From other sources I heard that oil and gas interest was heating up in this area. One company was looking for diamonds but came up with a very good quality coal seam.
