Tomn DeLay was in charge of selling the Republican party. they turned out to be just as bad the Demos when they got power. Yep. I agree with your post. "Acton's disease." Very few Pols can resist being corrupted by the political power they gain. Our only hope is that the economy is so fundamentally strong that it can power though this mess. Even with all of the problems, we are still a little above level on the economy each quarter. We know that the Dem Congress will do all the wrong things, and hurt rather than help. lindybill@lieonthebeach.com
