"why isnt the mccain campaign releasing all the pages of his military record? is it because we are going to find that he is not a hero but a navy brat? if you have nothing to hide then release those missing pages (about 600 of them). you cant run as a military hero and withhold information from the public. that is at the very least downright disingenuous."

"First, Clark is right. Being a POW is no qualification for president. There are many veterans and former POW's that no one would consider making president. McCain has no executive military experience, and has shown poor judgement on issues like Iraq. Second, it's interesting that the same Republicans that swift boated Kerry in 2004 are all of a sudden so outraged when a military general actually makes a substantive and true observation about McCain."

"McCain is the one who demeans his own military service by having a horrible record of supporting the troops and veterans. Many veterans groups give McCain very low marks for his poor support. McCain just gives lip service to veterans: he praises them with words but won't support them with proper health care, education, etc. Instead, McCain wants to keep sending our brave troops to endless rotations in Iraq with no end in sight.
