Obama has led the fight for ethics reform in the senate for one thing. McCain used to be for ethics reform too. That was a long time ago before he hired and kissed butt of every corporate lobbyist in DC. McCain figured he needed money so why not sell out completely. After all, no actual people are sending McCain money, or very few. So he needs all the most greedy out of control industry groups behind him. McCain has a major problem though. How to placate the angry confused far right and win over the moderates who used to trust him. He can't have both. And now Obama is even making inroads with the religious right. Amazing but true.
