Somewhere in between the extremes. If you paid attention as to where Jay actually lives in HK, you'd see that it is a nice median point between the extremes. There are an awful lot of wealthy people who live in places like Manhattan (even with its extreme taxes compared to HK). Not everyone wants to spend all their time in the middle of nowhere, though visiting the middle of nowhere for some of the time is nice.
