The idea of converting millions of already-built gasoline vehicles to electric power is perfectly absurd. The battery technology to move such heavy vehicles economically does not even exist. Why I should believe anything that this person says about himself or anything that anyone says about him is not at all clear. I own two Priuses, which have been engineered from scratch to use electric power, and even they really run on gasoline. Toyota is moving very cautiously towards production of a plug-in. Once in a while some backyard tinkerer will convert something like a small, light, gasoline vehicle to run on electricity but the results are not terribly impreesive. I think just because a person is called an "engineer" does not mean that he knows anything.
