I've been reading about how devastated towns in Northern B.C. have been by the closure of the forest industry, particularly Mackenzie. It is interesting to read that the outlook for mining is bright.

I wonder if a mining company, armed with an attractive feasibility study (or two), would be turned down for finance by a Canadian bank, when the social need is so great. What would local opinion say, onepath ?
