By the way, in my last post, I am addressing David's question about AVAX's melanoma vaccine, and not Lidak's vaccine. In lidak's vaccine, their press release isn't all that clear either, but they seem to imply the possibility that 5 of 15 stage 4 melanoma's stabilized and went into remission. This also HAS to be a typo. They can't do both in the same patient if defined the way I understand the terms. stabilization indicates no growth. Partial remission means decrease more than 50%. Remission means complete disappearance by various clinical means. Are they trying to say that they have achieved complete remission in some patients?

Now say that AVAX really does have good results, they would then attach their hapten binded antigen technology to lidak's LMI technology. Also there are many other melanoma vaccines being tried. All of these that I am aware of could be combined with LMI if they had positive results. In a way, Lidak implies this possibility in their press release.
