hi maurice-

my first reaction when i saw my
friend's bike with the 'automatic gears'
was that it was one more thing to break
down - but i don't know that. i'll wait
and see what her experience is with it
before i make any more judgements.

its pricy - almost $1,000, probably more
with tax and bells and whistles and racks
and stuff.

my bike is a 10 year old norco with i
don't know what kind of gears, but it
gets me from here to there and in the
nice weather definitely beats driving a
car.

first time out though is always a little
hard on the ass <vbg>
