<< And of course by everything else you posted about financial speculation. >>

How is a guarantee speculation? Please explain this to me.

<< In fact your entire post is a fallacious argument, suggesting that I was talking about financial speculation in the first place >>

You already said that in the last post. All I did was provide a reference to back up my statements like you asked me to do.

<< I am talking about the technical factors that led the deal to collapse. >>

Ok, this is the third time your telling me. I got it!

<< Without these technical factors, specifically a working system that Sequent could use, there was no deal. >>

How is that ANCR's problem? If ANCR lived up to all the specs needed by SQNT that's their problem not ANCR's. I'm not in the industry so I don't know how all these things work but it has been said on this thread that several months of testing occur before an OEM will incorporate a switch. I assume that SQNT thoroughly tested ANCR's switch and found nothing wrong with it. If SQNT was too stupid to know that ANCR's class 1 switch wouldn't have worked for them (regardless of whose fault it was) that's their problem. THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE INKED THE DEAL IF THEY WEREN'T WILLING TO HONOR IT. Ancor was foolish for not FORCING them to honor it.

<< You can post all the irrelevant financial speculation and technical analysis you want. >>

How is it speculation? The source I posted was a summary from Kerry Lee as to what he heard in an ANCR conference call. The $6 million guaranteed figure was also mentioned 2 posts back by another person summarizing the CC call. I didn't hear the call so this is all I can offer as a source that it was the case.

As for being irrelevant, you are wrong again. It is very relevant. It shows that what is announced publicly as a deal can't be taken to the bank until it's cash to the bottom line and genrating shareholder value. How do we know that there weren't problems with FC products shipped this quarter? Maybe ANCR will be resciniding it's contract with Hucom because of some interoperability issues.
If ANCR is down because it didn't get the SUNW contract it can hardly be called the "leader" anymore.

While you ANCR bulls are all coddling each other saying that this decline is just a little Reg D selling ANCR closes down 11 out of the last 13 days. If nothing is wrong with ANCR and they are going to report a record quarter and everything is so rosy HOW COME THERE ARE NO BUYERS STEPPING IN?

I will admit I was foolish for not staying disciplined and selling when it broke it's 200 DMA like I said I would. I finally saw the handwriting on the wall at 8 7/16. We're close to a full point lower now. How low will you let it go before YOU face the music?

Just remember, nobody could figure out what was wrong with ANCR the last time there was a debacle.
