He may have had the experience. But the question remains whether he performed well or not. His temper is his Achilles heel. And it is his temper which tells me he was not a good commander. His graduating fourth from the bottom in contrast to General Clarks's top of the class is what is at issue. It is good that all these are coming to the fore when the American voter is seriously pondering over having a mediocre President or someone with a demonstrated intelligence.
