I see where you can buy an oil sands ETF on the TSX. The symbol is CLO.to

I don't know yet. I might like that. I'll have to check it out. Anyone have thoughts on this one?

>>> The Claymore Oil Sands Sector ETF has been designed to replicate the performance, net of expenses, of the Sustainable Oil Sands Sector Index. The Sustainable Oil Sands Sector Index TM was designed to give investors the maximum exposure to one of the fastest growing industries in the Canadian energy sector and one of the largest reserves of oil in the world. The index is restricted to companies that are highly focused on oil sands production and are expected to increase their oil sands production in the next ten years. The weightings in the index are based on a proprietary mathematical formula that focuses on five key factors. By focusing on the following five factors, the index is designed to invest in the companies that best represent the current and future production of oil sands:

Current Oil Sands Production measured in barrels per day

Projected 10yr Forward Oil Sands. Production measured in barrels per day

Focus on Oil Sands Production Percentage of total production focused on oil sands production
