I also agree inflation followed by deflation makes sense. Mish is definitely correct that money is being destroyed it a phenomenal rate right now, in the form of housing value. The problem I see is that the deflation is hitting people in their assets and the inflation is hitting them very hard in their daily spending. It's the worst of all possible economic worlds.
