Chinu: "
I would be more interested in your sharing your views and philosophies about the elections and the way this country is headed in general. I think we should leave the extremist groups such as MoveOn and FOX to fend for themselves. Many of us do know where to go and find their stuff.

America first my friend. As Michelle said "For the first time, I am really proud of my country." Slimeballs like Hannity objected to that. But the fact of the matter is that she echoed the sentiments of the common American folks. We the people, let us take it back. Leave FOX and MoveOn to fight amongst themselves and hope that they destroy each other.

koan: " it is your thread. I'll tone it down if that is what you want.

But the swiftboating probably gave that election to bush; and the gay bashing probably gave that election to bush." Most people today believe it was because neither fought back.

So that was the thesis of both lost elections.

Obama is not making that mistake. Yesterday he spoke on patriotism and today he will speak on faith. He is fighting back and that is pretty much the story it seems to me.

The events that brought down Gore and Kerry will pale in comparison to what they will bring against Obama. And, as mentioned, McCain just hired the same group that did the swiftboating ads. And I heard that defended by some conservatives as just good politics.

I do agree Obama is taking the correct road in trying to bring the country together, but the 800 lb gorilla in the room is that 53% to 33% still believe McCain can protect the coutnry better than Obama; and the conservatives and liberals do not see eye to eye. The only progress, I see is that the country is in such bad shape the liberals can at long last at least peek out from under the bed.

Obama is trying to run from the middle and that is smart. And I am all for him doing that, as that is the only way he can get elected.

I'll try and figure out what you think is germain and try and stick to that.
