Gordon, I'm only trying to summarize what some professionals have said. And yes, they understand JAVA.

But they believe that MSFT has the upper hand.

I'm a SUNW fan. I own SUNW stock. I wish I knew more about JAVA. But even if I did, my knowledge wouldn't affect the outcome of the MSFT/SUNW dispute, according to the professionals who work in the industry.

These professionals believe that MSFT has the power to neutralize JAVA in the PC market. By the way, the professionals who shared their opinions do not work with MSFT.

As far as JAVA goes, we've heard only good things. The problem is that MSFT has more power. And SUNW gave MSFT free reign to develop JAVA for Windows.

I would like to see a victory for JAVA & SUNW because MSFT has become a monopoly.

I'm only telling you what I've heard.
