While I am sure the world has gone thru a global warming/cooling cycle over the millenia, it just seems common sense to me that man definitely is playing a factor this time around.

In the last hundred or so years we have gone from horse and buggy to millions of cars. We've watched our population explode resulting in an ever increasing demand on the earths resources. We have come up with better and better techniques to fill that demand........all at the earths expense.

Just look at the east coast fishing industry. When I moved to East coast Quebec (Sept Isle) in 1991, the Canadian Cod fishing moratorium was just getting under way. We were told 5 years and everything would be back on track. Well its now 16 yrs. and there is still no sign of recovery.

I am not a scientist and no I have no real evidence to back me up, but it just seems to me that common sense dictates we are having some serious effects on the world we live in.......and global warming is a big part of that.

Will we learn? I don't thinks so.....at least not until its too late. Until decision making is not based on what pleases the voters until the next election, and starts to focus on what is in the best interest of everyone 20, 50, 100 yrs. down the line.....there will be no change.

I'm just as bad as I still drive my gas guzzling luxury car. It's amazing how we can complain yet justify at the same time.

Just my opinion.....now I'll slither back to my hole I lurk from.
