Well, we should hear from him, I think he saw that as neccessary for the US to decline from its preeminent position. And saw something in that direction as likely. But maybe he can enlighten us. I think it is a question of evolution vs. revolution. I'm a believer in the evolutionary rise of China. The US is of course still way ahead in most things that count like scientific research, but China is so big and rising so fast that we are heading for TEOTWAWKI.
