I suspect most things are down because of oil and capital issues.

Even though AMSC can be seen as green energy play, and high oil prices should be a positive, I can see where curtailed capital expenditures due to the subprime rathole would make something as capital intense as building wind farms difficult in the current climate.

Translation: lower tide, lowers all boats.
