It's all relative. Just because "Ford" uses a form of piston engine to run its car, does that make "BMW" or other a "rip-off"?. The chief designer of Pentium DID NOT rip off Digital Alpha desgin....How insulting. Did you know that the DA and CADENCE employees were illegally trading AVNT stocks. Avant RD continues to produce great products thus increasing market share and earnings. Cadence see them as a threat. Cadence should better capitalize its strong R&D division than its legal division. Synopsis is also going to eat up CADENCE. Heheee. No just kidding...I have friends at Cadence as well as the other two competitors and they are all super brilliant desginers. Overall, the market is large enough for everyone to do well and stop sueing one another just to get the ahead.
