Oil at new high "analysts say could go higher"

WTF do analysts know that we don't?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there is currently no shortage of oil in the US or the world,
but rather a perception or fear of a future shortage.

So, a global slowdown, and isolated recessions, some severe, including the US

And world demand is going to increase?
