koan; " I think many people romanticize Powell. IMO he is sleezy. I beleive he knew what was going on when he lied to the UN. He recently got real angry when his former chief of staff started telling the press what cheney et al had been doing. And his son was involved in some sleezy stuff.

I didn't remanticize Powell but I thought he was better than the rest of the Bush cabal. That proved to be wrong as you so aptly point out.
