I'm not 'pushing'.

I posted a short article that I thought was interesting (called it 'interesting' in my original post) that was based on a group of American historians who submitted a brief to the Supreme Court about the conclusions that *they* had made in this case about "original intent" of the language.

"why should I do your research for you?"

You wouldn't be.

YOU were the one who griped that there were not detailed footnotes linking back to the original source documents from the Constitutional Convention (or something to that effect....)

I explained... that it would be MOST UNLIKELY to find that level of voluminous detail in your average newspaper article --- and suggested that you could probably pretty easily D/L the historian's legal 'friend of the court' filing (should be public info) if you had an ACTUAL INTEREST in the 'details' of their arguments, as you claimed, and were not simply carping to be carping.
