I work in the international drilling industry. My travel has all been on business and I'm not going to list all the countries as some might reveal whom I'm employed by. But even when in the US as I usually am (I travel much less than most people in my part of the company - I strongly prefer to avoid travel), I work with an international work force. I've worked with a lot of Nigerians and Malaysians , and other nationals, theres a Libyan national in my work group currently just down the hall from my office. This afternoon at the close of a meeting, a guy (just moved back from Canada to TX) talking about the upcoming 4th remarked on how fortunate we were to live in this country. Seconded my a Nigerian, now American citizen sitting next to me.

Your perception is skewed by your BDS. You naturally want to project that onto everyone else.
