The great product mix now is clearly having an effect on the way IDTI is being perceived. The difference in price between CY and IDTI shares has disappeared over the past week - I think that is due to the new product offerings. What was a wait and hope things turn out OK scenario, now appears to be a pure wait - unless IDTI pulls some bizzarre financial moves, the company should be poised to really scream. In retrospect, the company was very wise to make its damaging and unpopular financial moves - writedowns and heavy R&D spending - during the downcycle in the industry. Hopefully, now there will be little drag on the positive earnings that will follow. Considering all the innovations the company has sponsered (while actually increasing their cash position), the company probably would have met the earnings expectations set for them early this year. Going back and looking at all the product offerings that have appeared this year, in addition to more that are to follow, huge strides seem to have been made. I would like to believe the high per share price estimates that have been posted here (does anyone have access to the M-S report that cited $3/sh?), and think that there is a good chance these optimistic goals can be reached.

Regarding the C6 and C6+, these have to become the de facto notebook choices - the discrepancy between desktop and laptop computing power is becoming more pronounced all the time and the reason is power dissipation. The C6 solves this problem and people who don't use it in their laptop motherboards are just going to be left behind. Even IBM and Compaq will need to consider this chip for laptops. We use nothing but laptops at our company and if I can get a $2000 laptop that performs better than today's $4000 laptops, it is as good as bought. Also consider that relationships built on the basis of microprocessor sales will also benefit memory and logic sales.

Any comments? Anyone have access to any professional analysis besides the very poor Lehman analysis?
