Bush went into Iraq not knowing the difference between sunnie and shia. Obama had traveled through Pakistan and the middle east and knew they had had tribal warfare for hundreds of years. We now have a full blown civil war brewing. Many of the top generals have said bush mishandled the war. why would we trust the people who made such a mess of things getting us in, to get us out? Then institute a draft and get a larger army, but give the kids a break. Spread the fighting around with a larger military. We are not treating our soldiers fairly. We are asking too much. We should be giving them top priority. better armor. Our troops deseverve the same thing the soldiers got in WWII like a good GI bill without having to do twice as much. And at least in WWII the kids had a rear line ot rest in. No rear line in iraq. We need to be fair to our toops.
