Yes, Maurice, the "Hound of Heaven" doesn't tire of the chase.

No need to apologise for being flippant, but your graciousness is appreciated.

Typing class, because more women there than in the music class? A highly commendable motivation! I compare the company and conversation of women to delightful music.

John 11? (Looking it up...) That describes the time when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. It also contains the shortest passage in the entire Bible, two words in length. "Jesus wept." John 11:35

Cor 3? I Cor or II Cor? I Cor 3 talks about the problem of dividing into denominations. II Cor 3 talks about how the Jewish people, as a whole, have a "veil" blocking their understanding until the Lord shall take the veil away.

I wonder what you were thinking of in connection with John 11 or one of the Corinthians, 3?

I wasn't happy with the "free will sorted out" item mentioned either, especially how it turned out for that man. I don't know what to think. I talked to his brother-in-law about it, and he didn't know what to think either. Said the man left a note on the outside of the door of his house, saying not to enter, but rather to call the police. It sounds like he was trying to be considerate of his friends and relatives by sparing them from seeing the results of what had transpired. I lean toward the opinion that he was overcome, perhaps by despair, though he never let on. His wife had been a chronic hypochoncriac who preferred being sick to getting well, is the other thing I heard about him, after the fact.

Since you choose to come and go, to write, and respond, or not, it seems to me you believe in and freely exercise free will.

Joking is healthy. I realize that you mix jokes in with your communication and it is a healthy thing to do. :-)

"A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart, the spirit is broken." (Prov 15:13) I don't remember that man ever joking or smiling.

May you continue to joke and smile in abundance, Maurice.

John
