Pearly, what papers in the UK do you consider to be accurate and good sources to use, both for world news and UK news?

We have rags here too...National Enquirer, Star, etc..

We have papers that used to be fair and balanced...Christian Science Monitor, Chicago Tribune, NYT, WaPo, etc....but really aren't anymore.

We have papers in each large city, that are very biased towards the numbers of groups in their locale.....Seattle Times, LA Times, etc....

Here you have to look to see where the paper is buying the news they print (NYT, Knight Rider, AP, etc) and see what you think ...

Watch the Headlines for the Papers of "note" and see how the headlines are slanted.... Check the front pages of the 10 "majors".... Go to The Drudge Report...he has links to most of them, pick a major story, and compare them....You will begin to see patterns very quickly.

The Singapore Strait Times is a good example of an interesting, and tries to be somewhat unbiased, as least for the most part....
