Geoff: What BO and the do gooder liberals " koan: where I come from a "do gooder" is a good person. Just like calling a person a "bleeding heart liberal" as though that was terrible. Look at the last 3,000 years. Our lives were brutish with war and slavery and injustice everywhere. The strong made the weak suffer. Our constitution was written, and our counry created, to prevent that! It has only been in the last two hundred years "do gooders" have made things more fair and easier for everyone. It was the do gooders who wrote the constitution to set up a democracy; and the "do gooders" who fought for the womens right to vote; and the "do gooders" who fought to end slavery; and the "do gooders" who fought against segregation. A do gooder is what you want in a president. Hitler, Stalin, Mao and pol pot were not do gooders. Would you rather elect one of them? Thinking being a good person is bad, is sick thinking.
