You seem to not want to discuss why there is no draft.

I'll tell you why there's no draft, because it's a bad idea. One of the reasons our military works as well as it does is because with very few exceptions they all chose to be there. Want to see our fighting forces ruined? Institute a draft. Go ask some military types if they think a draft is a good idea, see what they say......
