Energyplay, when all asset classes lose value, aren't we talking about a rise in the value of cash, of all things? That looks and sounds strange. I myself have about 20% of my assets in Canadian dollars. I'm behaving as if that were safer than gold, a ridiculous belief. Cash is trash, and somehow, oil futures of 2015 look better than the same gleaming gold which one might buy today, and hope that nobody steals it from us by 2015.
Oil > Gold > Canadian Cash.
