Woody, don't you wonder if CDE is talking to the SEC about this manipulation? Or if not, why not? This is the stuff of a detective novel: follow the money. Somebody (or -bodies) stands to make a lot of $$$ from this short. I'm still long and green the shares but underwater in LEAPs. But it's early yet. If a summer/fall rally doesn't trigger short-covering, then you'll hear my squawk. This strkes me as the latest mutation in the freedom to scam that started in the Reagan era of deregulation and junk bond jail terms. Now we've improved the model even more by getting rid of the inconvenient prosecutions.
