KOAN: you have to be kidding. Lure them in? There are numberless muslims kids ready to fight the US. We can never defeat them all. We can control and manage the threat, but the idea you have that there are a certain number of them which we can lure in and defeat blows my mind. That is pure fantasy.

That is just not reality!

Do you not understand that Alqaeda replacements are infinite. It is imposssible to defeat all of them. And our being there has created tens of thousands/millions of new Al Qaeda and taliban followers. Their numbers grow every day. In their eyes they are fighting the great Satan. It is their religous calling. If you go to Pakistan or anywhere i hte middle east, you will find kids wearing osama T shirts all over the place and pro Osama posters everywhere.

In much of Pakistan and the middle east osama is a hero.

Lure them in and kill them. Good lord.

You stay on the edges, in strategic positions, but never wade right into the middle of them. They have an infinite number of recruits.

Take a look at a big Pakistani city, or indonesia. The radical muslims are infinite. There are many more al Qaeda today than 6 years ago. Tens of thousands/million? And new ones being born every day. Thousands.
