hello haim, there is preciously little to 'understand' about gold, except to note to those with a passing interest that the truth is simple, self evident, and just so: gold - is one of the more useless of all the metals - is pretty - has a cost of extraction that is higher than many metals - all that had been dug up is still around, hidden, buried, otherwise hidden or dangled about in broad daylight - is fungible across wide geography, at least on this planet - has no correct price at any given moment, and - so lovely
