The price of gasoline has doubled and the unemployment rate has started rising AFTER you elected dems in 2006. The price of gas more than doubled before we elected Dems to congress. Problem is we didn't elect enough to override the oil lobby veto. But don't worry Steve, the Neo's have screwed up this county SO MUCH that a Dem Congress will truly be in charge in '09. Able to pass any legislation they want without executive approval. So we will see some solutions that actually are consumer based, not based on "of the oil companies, by the oil companies and for the oil companies". It will be good for you... like it or not.
