People are paying attention to this election thanks to Obama, and the amazing Obama-Hillary battle which dominated the news for many months. People are also very worried about their financial futures, so they are definitely paying attention early. The GOP has always benefitted from complacency and low voter turn-outs. That won't happen this time except in terms of a low voter turn-out for McCain. Because let's be honest, McCain has no solutions, mainly more of the same that has gotten us into such deep trouble.
