longshot you twist everything and never answer direct questions. You just rant.

Sweden is a democracy and as such they run their affairs accordingly. Democracy is a matter of compromise. Sweden is a fine country where freedom rings.

So you do not like some of the things they do. I will not argue particulars with you. That accomplishes nothing. I am sure they live their lives in a way you detest. Well it is their country and have the right to run it like they want.

Denmark has 50% taxes and studies have found them to be the happiest people on earth. Everyone in Denmark can get a PHD free and take as long as they want. A country full of educated people is very good for democracy! And they have comprehensive health care for everyone.

In Sweden it is agaisnt the law to hit your kids. Most psychologists would applaud that. I raised both my kids and never hit them once.

They were both honor students. I never once had to tell them to do their homework. One went to the university of California at Berkeley and then Loyola law school. The other went to the university of Oregon.

Both were honor students and are very good citizens and environmentally responsible.

We liberals make education of our children job one.
