That was two hundred years ago. Tiems have changed .Both jefferson and 'washington had slaves. Do you think we should have slaves too? Liberals try to change with the times and new knowledge, not stick to old fashioned ideas. Like slavery and segregation.

Both my kids went to public schools the whole way and had no trouble competing at the top universities in the land. It is very hard to get into Berkeley. Good grades are th eonly way. it is easier to get into Stanford and Harvard.

There are more Nobel prize winners teaching at Berkeley than any other university.

A viable public school system is paramount of a thriving democracy. A voucher system weakens the public school system.

Many people use vouchers to send their kids to religous schools (that is indoctrination, not education) just like in the middle east where most education consists of memorizing the Koran. As mentioned, that is not education. That is indoctrination.
