First of all, my main concerns are national and economic security. Environmental benefits are great, but I think the more immediate problem is our addiction to energy sources in the Middle East and Venezuela, ...our economy's vulnerability to supply disruptions -------------------------------------------------- Those are good arguments to produce more oil and natural gas in America and to promote the use of nuclear power and coal. All conventional proven technology and economical today. You can produce "more" oil and natural gas in the US and it won't make a bit of F'ing difference. Every expert in the world says that (except you and Rush Limbaugh and George Bush). Get over it. The only way we can make a difference is through efficiency... and with 25% of the worlds consumption that is a serious opportunity. You've got a couple of percentage points of world production, or 1/4 of world consumption. What do you target?
