Congrats on admitting the facts below..very few libs will admit that the liberal teacher's unions are to blame for the breakdown in effective education in public primary schools. Since you're aware of the facts concerning the inflexibility of teachers unions, explain why so many libs oppose No Child Left Behind? It's only requirement is for schools to produce students with a basic competence in reading & math for their grade level. Libs state it's "unfunded"--American taxpayers pay more per student than any other country in the world, so it's impossible for basic performance to be unfunded. >when it comes to primary education here is where our present union monopoly system simply fails us all. Gives teachers no incentive to teach well. Makes it close to impossible and outrageously expensive to fire incompetent teachers<
