india is a classic case where last 5 yrs of credit orgy/loose monetary policy was used to justify excesses. Not unlike the feckless Miami developers who built ultra luxuyy condos that now vegetate, indians went (and still on) on the binge to construct infrastucture daydreaming about future needs of 5% of the population that somehow was plugged more to US fortunes than domestic. And now it is dawning on such imbeciles what white elephants they have created... i am hearing anecdotals about airlines plying half empty and some new airports w/ deafening silence... timesofindia.indiatimes.com
