Well, look at history, the Soviet Empire. God had to be removed, He was a source of strength, comfort, and hope that the leaders could not control.
Looking around, Democrats and their war on poverty created generations of people dependent upon government. Removing God from the family, from school, and from any visibility in the public, reinforces the mindset that all good things come from the government.
Look at Bill Cosby, his speech against problems in the community. Why did the liberal leaders attack him? They attacked him because he said you must start with yourself in repairing the cancer growing in this country, that to think salvation is a government check is your only hope.
Look at press conferences today on any of the social ills used as campaign topics. The democrats' solution is always the government, always promises of more money.
Even Obama knows he needs to move away from their agenda, have you noticed his support lately of Bush's faith based initiatives? There's where the solution lies, to let more people help each other in the way they see fit; not a politician deriving power from deciding how charitable you must be for them to hold onto or increase their power. |
