Going to School AT Benton Oil.
I think it will do a lot of good if CEO Steve Jacobs takes a couple of weeks off and go to Benton Oil in California and learn a thing or two from Mr.Benton of Benton Oil. Tracer could be what Benton Oil is today, if only Tracer learns how to formulate and excute strategic plans. I am not saying Benton Oil is a company to invest in at the moment, but if you go to their web page and see how things are done over there, especially how they operate in Venezuela,Russia,China,and California. It is also very interesting to see as to how they arrange financing for projects, how they choose partners and projects of various types etc etc...Also mind you, not too long ago their stocks were trading for couple of bucks,well few years ago.

As for selling the Tracer stock now,i dont think it will get you much, probably not enough even to go to McDonalds,so why bother.I dont think it is worth the effort, unless of course you have your reasons. |
