<Get real.>
I've been real, Bob. I own a Mac.
<Nothing like watching someone justify a one day loss in stock price of 10% as being a positive!>
It's certainly more positive than the stock dropping down to the levels you're convinced it should be at. Why didn't it sink to a 52-week low on the earnings announcement, Bob? Why? Huh?
<I have a rather warped sense of admiration for you.>
Well, seeing as how all your senses appear to be somewhat warped, I suppose I have no choice but to try to take this statement as a compliment.
<The new board, the "new" CEO, the new operating system....the same old losses.>
Funny how the Street (and you) are paying so much attention to the workings of a company that was supposed to be dead years ago. Obviously there's a story here, Bob, and you yourself have become a part of it ( for better or for worse is for the readers of this list to decide).
<It's going to take more than a Metallica concert to help this company.>
Hey, have you ever even *been* to a Metallica concert? Those guys really have the potential to turn a company around. And they're from Northern CA, too.
I can't wait until AAPL hits 50 next year. (That should give you cause for a little jig, Bob).
Sincerely yours,
Mark |
