Why do all of you love Volker. I dont have such fond memories. What he did them if done now, would cripple this economy further. We do not have runaway inflation and what we have is commodity based. There is wage price spiral. If anything wages are moderating further as unemployment ramps up. I dont think volker would do volker today. Deficit needs to be addressed but not quite yet given the facts on the ground.
