Would you like to explain how using less of what you have is an alternative that can be used for what you are using less of?

Conservation is not "alternative energy". Unless you'd like to show the power derived from something that doesn't exist. Should be almost as much fun as you people explaining how something "evolved" from nothing in the origins of life....
