When you point out that "biological evolution", which is what most humans think of when you talk about "evolution", doesn't say anything about origins, things start to get weird pretty quickly. It is sort of like what I imagine a bad trip on acid is like. Where meanings change, flow and, dare I say, evolve on a continuous basis.

I never knew there was a significant group of people in this country who didn't believe in evolution. I knew it was controversial in the 19th century but I thought that controversy had ended back then.
