Kirk, 200W x 10 hours IS ... 2KWhr. So we agree on that. The question is will a car be in the sun that long? Only if its outside, not in the shade and pointed towards the sun.

A car with a sloped roof isn't going to get the equivalent of 10 hrs per day. Panels on a rooftop average roughly 25% of their rated efficiency. Panels on a car won't be that good. It probably won't be close. And it could be more expensive to integrate into a vehicle roof.

Contrast that with the charging station. Put a properly oriented solar panel on that and you are looking at getting the full $1,800.
