I dont see the problem. We won something that was total quagmire a year or so ago. Lets have a parade for the troops. Agree... PS In last nights argument i had with my friend Al, i said things in Iraq could stabilize further and there was no reason they had to go back to civil war. I said i saw the greatest danger in intra shia strife between al sader and maliki (& allies). I think Iran will settle for a friend on its border and shia control of their destiny in their area. I am sort of optimistic here. Thoughts???? I think you are dreaming. Iraq has been a center of strife for 1000's of years, our brief visit isn't going to end that. It's going to be mess no matter how long we stay.
