Ann: Answer: It's not inconsistent to teach both the Christian concept of creation and the scientific theory (without any religious connotation)--Catholic schools have employed that technique for a century. It's also possible to believe a Creator initially triggered the scientific sequence of events that resulted in the universe. In fact, many scientists do believe in a Creator. koan: so which of the 5,000 religion's who claim "intelligent design do you teach"? We are a secular nation.
